Yes, there is a mandatory $1.50 fee to obtain a BayCard which is listed as part of “Tuition and Fees”. Please refer to the  ’Student Financial Services website for further information.

First time students will receive their card during their school orientation. Replacement cards, however, must be picked up at the University Library.

New Orientation students will receive cards at Orientation Checkout.

Your application for a BayCard will be delayed. You will receive an email indicating the reason why the photo is not acceptable and will have to either re-upload another picture or visit the University Library to have your BayCard manually produced.

If you lose your card, immediately go to the Web Center and select “DEACTIVATE CARD

You can Express Order a replacement card if you have the necessary funds available in your Account. Use the online Express Card Replacement Order form. Once the form is submitted, you will be charged $10.00 from your Account ($25.00 for residence access. Please contact  ’Student Housing & Residential Life  for more information on a replacement residence access card). If you do not have the necessary funds in your Account, you will have to go to the University Library, request a replacement card, and pay in advance.
